Chocolate Tea Recipe – Warm and Chocolatey!
If you are a tea person, you can fix this warm and cozy chocolate tea for winter evenings in less than 10 minutes and serve it with some crackers, or fresh cake.
Any type of tea with chocolate is called chocolate tea. When hot chocolate milk is excessively thick and calorie-dense, switching to chai tea is a “win-win” deal. It is the ideal winter beverage because it has a subtle, seductive chocolate flavor.
When a chai lover grows tired of the same taste, he may switch to this incredible beverage that will not only refresh his wits but also provide him a calming sensation that will make him feel less exhausted after only one cup.

You can serve chocolate tea with a side of sweet cream pancakes, and waffles. Or if you’re craving it in summer, just pop a few ice cubes in the tea, and you have yourself cold tea ready with chocolatey flavor.

- Green Cardamom pods 2
- Sugar to taste
- Cinnamon powder ¼ teaspoon

- Boil the mixture for one minute.
- Add one spoonful of cocoa powder now.
- Mix thoroughly after adding 2–3 teaspoons of tea leaves. For 3 to 4 minutes, simmer.
- Add roughly 3/4 cup of milk at this point, and simmer for one minute.
- After adding the necessary amount of sugar and stirring properly, strain the tea.
- Serve hot chocolate tea right away.
Variations
- I love having thick chocolate tea, so with cocoa powder, I also add chocolate to my tea. For best results, you can use Lindt as it’s available in the markets easily. You can use dark chocolate, hazelnut, or any flavor you want.

- For this recipe, you can use any black tea brand, but I prefer using Earl Grey.
- You can keep the leftovers in the refrigerator and serve it chilled.
- You can also add peppermint to tea for a minty flavor.
Chef Notes
- For the finest flavor, use cocoa powder of very high quality. 1.5 tablespoons of cocoa powder will give you a strong chocolate flavor.
- Add tea leaves to your liking. Just add 1 teaspoon of tea leaves if you want a light cup of tea.
- Soy or almond milk can be used to make vegan chocolate tea.
- In the event that you run out of chocolate, chocolate syrup would still work because this recipe is pantry-friendly. Leave out the brown sugar and instead add 4 tablespoons of chocolate syrup.
- The leftovers can be chilled in the refrigerator. Stir it around! I want to froth it up with 2 ice cubes and enjoy cold iced coco milk tea.
